UK CAMPSITE - GALTON FARM, DORSET

UK CAMPSITE - GALTON FARM, DORSET

As you know, we're big fans of camping here at Bundle Beds. Camping trips are made brilliant with a comfy bed, delicious food and of course, a good campsite.

Our mission is to help you to dream big and bundle as much as possible into life with minimal hassle. So, we've done our research and our sharing some of our top sites in the UK and beyond...

Introducing... Galton Farm

Where are you based?

South Dorset, 2 miles as the crow flies from Ringstead bay. We are a little hamlet called Galton, tucked next to a village called Owermoigne, 7 miles from Dorchester.

Tell us a bit about you and the site?

We are a back to basics campsite offering plenty of pitching space in a large field on an Organic Farm. Clean facilities , hot showers and washing up facilities. Just simple camping close to many Dorset attractions. A wild camping element… with facilities!

What's the best thing to do nearby?

Lulworth Cove is a must visit and a hearty walk to Durdle Door.

Do you have any glamping options?

No, we don't.

Is it good for kids?

Yes. It allows plenty of space for children to run around but we do not offer any additional things for children specifically, as we are just a simple campsite.

Can you bring dogs?

Well behaved dogs are welcome.

What’s your top tip for making the most of your stay?

Head to the beaches early to avoid the crowds and take advantage of the campsite recommendations for quieter beaches in the area. Fossil hunting is a must when visiting Dorset.

DREAM TIME... If we could hand you a magic carpet and a Bundle Bed to unroll anywhere, where would you go and why?

We'd have to go to Iceland, if the Bundle Bed was the magic carpet then we could watch the lava flow! Or if we're allowed two answers then we'd also love to see the cherry blossoms in Japan.

Please do get in touch to let us know if you've stayed at Galton Farm, or can recommend any other brilliant campsites or camping trips.
