Yes, it's another Huttopia site, but they're just SO good, and this one really did steal our hearts!

Introducing... Huttopia Lac De L'Uby.
We’ve fallen completely in love with this Huttopia site in France. Lakeside camping in the Gers region amid the Gascony Moors. From fishing & water sports to visiting villages named among the most beautiful in France & tasting Armagnac... There’s so much to see and do!
As with all Huttopia sites, you can choose from chalets, wood trailers, tents or a grass pitch for your own campervan or tent. The added bonus of this site is that you can opt for a lakeside tent or cabin. We opted for a lakeside tent and it did not disappoint! Arriving at our tent was incredible, from the moment we arrived to the sunset on the first evening, and all the fishing fun in between. What a perfect location!
Our tent was a trappeur tent, which can sleep up to 5. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed with a double bed as the base. It also has a bathroom with a loo & shower. You can opt to hire towels & linen sets at an additional cost, but we usually bring our own. We find that the boys are so much happier if they're in their own Bundle Beds, and settle to sleep much quicker, so the boys had their Bundle Beds unrolled on top of the bunk beds, and we bought double bed sheets to lay on top of our bed.
At the campsite...
This campsite really is absolutely perfect for everyone, whatever age or activity level...
You can simply set up your chair by the lake and relax with a book, there are lots of benches dotted around the lake edge to set up camp. Or perhaps you prefer a lounger by the swimming pool, which has a lovely decked area around it.
There is a kids pool and play park for the little ones, and plenty of space to run around and explore. The on-site cafe has drinks, snacks and ice creams for when they get hungry too.
Or for the more active there are water sports on the lake, cycle paths and hiking route galore. We did a run around the lake which was 6km, and a really lovely path, but there are so many options and the staff are more than happy to recommend different routes and areas to explore.
Or maybe you’re a fishing lover, in which case you’re in heaven! Fish straight from your tent or cabin (licenses are very easily available from the reception).

For those who enjoy immersing themselves in nature, the nearby footpaths are perfect for discovering unique panoramas and diverse wildlife. Lace up your hiking boots and embark on scenic walks that showcase the beauty of the Gers' landscapes.
