Cocktails for Valentine's Weekend

Whether you're looking to romance your loved one with a delicious cocktail, or celebrate the arrival of half term and a break from homeschooling, we've teamed up with our friends at Hepple Spirits to give you a selection of easy to make drinks for you to enjoy at home.

The Hepple G&T

A twist on the classic G&T.

  • 50ml Hepple Gin
  • 100ml Naturally light Fever Tree Tonic
  • Douglas Fir Sherbet

Coat the rim of your glass with the Douglas Fir Sherbet. 

Fill a glass with ice. Add 50ml Hepple Gin and top with tonic. Garnish with lemon.

Hepple Juniper Aged Martini

Gin isand should be about juniper. The gin martini therefore is the purest way of tasting the wonderful flavours of juniper. This creation by Nick Strangeway brings you to the heart of thew Hepple ancient junipers through the technology of ultrasonic infusion. Using this pioneering technology to rapidly age their martini on juniper wood, they complete the ultimate juniper journey.

  • Hepple Juniper Aged Martini
  • Chilled cocktail glasses
  • Strip of lemon zest

Simply put the bottle in the freezer for an hour, pour into chilled cocktail glasses, garnish with a strip of lemon zest, and enjoy the ride... Happy Heppleing!

Hepple Juniper Aged Negroni

If the martini is the King of the gin cocktails, the Queen is the beautifully bright Negroni. Stemming from Florence in 1919, Nick Strangeway has adapted the original recipe to be more juniper focused. Using the technology of ultrasonic infusion Hepple add a further layer of flavour by rapidly aging on juniper wood.

  • Hepple Juniper Aged Negroni
  • Chilled cocktail glasses
  • Wedge of orange

Chill in the freezer 1 hour before serving, remove and pour straight up with a wedge of orange for the perfect pre dinner cocktail - or lengthen with soda.

 

Hepple Bloody Valentine

This one requires slightly more effort to make, but is still simple, easy and delicious. 

  • 80ml gin
  • 10ml Campari
  • 2 tsp marmalade
  • 10ml sweet vermouth
  • 20ml blood orange juice
  • 40ml pomegranate
  • Top with champagne

Put all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker, aside from the champagne. Shake over ice, pour into a cocktail glass and top with champagne.
