Making the leap and starting your own business sets off a rainforest of butterflies (as well as the odd demon of self-doubt) … at least it did for us at Bundle HQ! So, as we’ve been hustling our way through a summer of fairs and shows, it has been lovely to discover so many other British brands who have done the same. We’ve marvelled at unique, clever, classic ideas – blending the beautiful with the practical – as well as the passion of the people behind them. Here are just a few of those small businesses who we would like to show a bit of Bundle Bed love for!
The Enamel Factory by Kate Samuels
The Enamel Factory is a light, airy, seaside studio in Herne Bay, where Kate produces bright and cheerful enamelware that will put a smile on your face. How could you be anything but a happy camper when sipping a brew from these mugs (even if the rain is bucketing down outside the tent)? Every item is painted and hand drawn so no two pieces are identical and, being enamel, they are almost indestructible. Bright, beautiful AND brilliant for adventures, whether chucked in a bucket for a scrub at a campsite, or pulled out for hot chocolate in a living room sleepover. This is our sort of product!
Check out Kate's full range of camping tableware on her website and via her Instagram (@enamelfactory).
Gussy and Lou
We are suckers for a dash of neon and a pompom - and the Gussy and Lou kaftans speak to our inner 70s diva (and are perfect with a bump)! Started by best friends looking to create distinctive clothes for children, the range is focused on 0-11 year olds but (thank goodness) includes a women’s collection for some mum & mini twinning.
Take a look at their all new website or scroll through their fun-infused childrenswear on Instagram (@gussyandlou).
Louisa Elizabeth Maps
We love travel … travelling and holidays were why Bundle Beds was born! These hand-drawn maps by Louisa Elizabeth, captivated us immediately. We love how they can be personalised to reveal your own stories and memories. You can bring the whole world to your home and stoke your wanderlust, or focus on a country or continent close to your heart. With half of Bundle Beds currently living in South East Asia, these are perfect for planning adventures, as well as remembering family and friends back home. They also look beautiful!
Discover all of Louisa's personalised illustrated maps on her website or via her Instagram (@louisaelizabeth) and Facebook page (@louisaelizabethtravelmaps).
Wildfire Teepees
Teepees, playmats and bean bags that are all about fun … but also in designs that you’ll be happy to take centre stage in your home (let’s be honest, the kids’ stuff soon takes over!). Wildfire Teepees focus on monochrome with pops of colour and we think this stripes ‘n’ yellow teepee is made for our yellow Bundle Bed for sleepover party fun!

Tinct
A brother and sister collaboration, Tinct produce British-made leather goods on the foundations of colour, candour, and character. We love their simple, classic, designs and, beyond that, their ethic of openness, with customers, partners, suppliers, and each other.

Armadillo Sun
Individually handmade in the UK, Caroline at Armadillo Sun produces outdoor fabrics and furniture that combine stunning patterns with functionality. They’re UV and fade resistant, and keep the mould and mildew at bay, so there’s no need to panic when the changeable British summer catches you unawares. They’re so comfy that we struggled to get our CTO (Chief Toddler) out of one of these bean loungers!
You can see more of Caroline's products on her website, or via her Instagram (armadillosun) and Facebook page (@armadillosun).
Yellow Gorse
With a focus on creating ethical products using natural and nourishing ingredients, Yellow Gorse are experts in de-stressing and relaxation – something that, with a one year old, a bump and a business, we feel like we need (just occasionally…!) The lemongrass and rosemary bath soak smells heavenly – the key is to find the time for a bath but this beautiful stuff is added motivation!
Whilst their products are best smelt in person you can discover their botanical fragrances, bath and skin care on their website or Instagram (@yellow.gorse).
Will Bees Bespoke
From toiletry bags, to holdalls, Will Bees make unique luxury leather and fabric accessories – all custom embossed by hand in Salcombe, Devon. The antithesis of mass production, we are in love with the new range of tarp bags – perfect for stuffing with a change of clothes for a spontaneous night away!
Check out their other duffle and wash bags on their website or via their Instagram (@willbeesbespoke).
