Our range includes Boosted & Classic beds and the specially designed Toddler & Junior kids travel beds. To make your decision easier, let's delve into the details of each type...
The Facts...
Kids Travel Beds
If you have little adventurers in the family, our Toddler & Junior kids travel beds are the perfect solution.
The toddler bed is the ideal for the next step from a travel cot, and with the bumper sheet & bumpers, these beds offer a dreamy night's sleep for wriggly sleepers aged 2-8+ years.
For older kids (3-12 years), or less wriggly sleepers, our Junior Beds provide a compact travel solution. Both Rob & Lucy's kids, who are aged between 3 - 9 years, LOVE their Toddler Bundle Beds and are happy as Larry on them.
However, if your child is around 6/7 years old, opting for a Classic Bed with a waterproof sheet might be a more sustainable choice for the long run...
Classic & Boosted Beds: For All Ages and Occasions
Our Classic beds are the epitome of versatility. Designed for everyone – adults or kids, indoor or outdoor use – they guarantee a restful night's sleep, no matter the circumstances. The 5cm thick mattress is a reliable choice that has been a favorite for many. Just ask Lucy, our "Chief Bundler," who stands at 168cm (5ft 5ins) and weighs 64kg. She's been enjoying the Classic mattress for three years, using it for camping trips and overnight stays with friends.
But, if you're looking for that extra touch of luxury, consider the Boosted 8cm mattress. Lucy, after trying it out on extended camping trips, decided to upgrade for the added comfort it provides during their 4-5 night adventures.
If you weigh over 75kg or simply crave that extra comfort, the Boosted 8cm mattress is the way to go for the adult beds. Rob, our "Number 2 Bundler," stands at 180cm (nearly 6ft) and weighs 87kg. While he's been okay on the 5cm mattress, the Boosted 8cm mattress provides him with a significantly better night's sleep.
And here's a bonus – all our Classic & Boosted beds can connect to create a Double Bundle with our Double fitted sheet, perfect for family camping or sleepovers.
And don't forget that we have the best towels for travelling and camping. Designed as a portable travel item for all your adventures, our Bundle Beds Adventure towel is made from 100% cotton. It's compact, lightweight, quick drying and super absorbent, great after a swim, gym or shower.
In summary, finding the right Bundle Bed is a breeze. Whether you're after a travel bed, camping bed, kids travel bed, the next step from a travel cot, a sleepover bed, or a solution for family camping and family travel, our range has you covered. Sweet dreams await with Bundle Beds – your ticket to a comfortable and restful night's sleep, wherever your adventures take you!

]]>We spoke to Emma Campani, a certified holistic sleep consultant, to get her top tips for sleep travelling with kids. In this guide, she'll explore best practices for creating a nurturing sleep space, maintaining the parent-child connection, and more, to help you navigate these situations with confidence and ease while away from familiar sleep environments.
Are you staying in a hotel or rented accommodation? What about taking a Bundle Bed to act as their own bed away from home? Or ask them for a cot and take their sheets?
Maybe you’re Staying with family? Discuss the boundaries that you and your partner want to set before you go - it can be difficult to set boundaries with family you maybe haven't seen in a while but it's important you're on the same page and feel comfortable in supporting each other to have them respected – especially if you know that sleep could be disrupted because of this.
One of the cornerstones of promoting sound sleep away from home is to replicate elements of your little one’s usual sleep environment. Bring along familiar bedding (again, Bundle Beds help with this) favourite sleep toys, and even a cosy blanket with the scent of home. These familiar items will help create a sense of comfort and security in an unfamiliar place, this in turn can help calm your little one and a calm environment is much more conducive to sleep. If you forget – don’t panic; give your little one the top you’ve been wearing that day to fall asleep with – the smell of you will work wonders for comfort.
Also, wherever possible, spend time acclimatising to the sleep space during the day so that it's not completely brand new at bedtime.
When the lights are off, spend a little time noticing what the room looks like – could there be any ‘scary’ shadows, is there some light coming in from outside that could disturb sleep?
Babies and children derive immense comfort from their parents' presence, which can be especially reassuring when sleeping in a new environment. dedicate extra time to 1-1 connection before bedtime, engaging in calming activities like reading a favourite book or singing a familiar lullaby. Eye contact and physical touch are incredibly important so try and take a few minutes where you’re not doing things (changing their clothes, cleaning them, changing nappies etc.) but focussing solely on them – face to face stories are a great way of doing this, or some soft tickles, massage or sensory pressure if they like that. This connection helps regulate your child's emotions and promotes a sense of safety, making the transition to sleep away from home smoother. Sense of smell is another really big factor in helping maintain that connection so where possible, make the sleep space smell like you (sweat, breast milk, dribble, and all!) wear the cot sheet next to your skin in the lead up to sleep (if practical). If breastfeeding, sprinkle some breast milk on the sleep space so the smell is familiar and comforting.
For older little ones, give them an item of your clothing to cuddle through the night.
No matter where you are, a consistent bedtime routine is a powerful tool for promoting healthy sleep. We know from research that an age appropriate, soothing and consistent bedtime routine is associated with more sleep. (Staples, A. D., Bates, J. E., & Petersen, I. T. , 2015). Stick to your usual pre-sleep rituals as closely as possible. This might include some time for movement, a bath, a massage, some books, and cuddles or even a few minutes of quiet play. These familiar activities signal to your child that it's time to wind down and prepare for sleep, regardless of the setting.
Whether you're in a hotel room or a relative's guest bedroom, consider ways to optimise the sleep environment. Bring portable blackout blinds to create a darker sleep space: as not only does this signal the body to produce melatonin (the sleepy hormone), but it can also help with bringing a calmer environment after potentially busy days – especially if you have a FOMO child who just loves taking everything in. If white noise is part of your little one’s sleep routine at home, consider bringing a portable white noise machine to keep that consistency as well as to help drown out unfamiliar noises.
Expect a transition period as your child adjusts to the new sleep environment. Stay patient and be prepared to offer extra comfort or feeds during the night if needed. Reassure your child that you're nearby and readily available if they need you. Remember, a supportive and empathetic approach fosters a sense of security and confidence.
Also be mindful of sensory overload and over stimulation during the day that can lead to very upset little ones at bedtime. Everything will be new and unfamiliar to them: new lights, sounds, smells, lots of people wanting to hold them or feed them; it can be a lot for many little ones, and a lot for us too! Remember the boundaries you’ve decided on as a family.
For younger little ones, consider using a carrier instead of the pram to minimise overstimulation from lots of different people wanting to hold and carry them.
While it's important to maintain consistency, we also want to allow room for flexibility. Travel and new experiences can disrupt even the most established sleep routines. Embrace these moments as opportunities for growth and fun, understanding that temporary adjustments can are just that: temporary; and you can easily slip back into your normal routine once you return home.
You never know – the new rhythm you established on holiday might actually work better at home too! We can often get hyper focused on the way we do things at home and be too worried to try anything different for fear of things going horribly wrong. HOWEVER, being away can often help us reframe views or see a different approach which can sometimes be for the better.
So, bon voyage, intrepid travellers!
With this comprehensive guide in hand, you’re set for any adventure. Remember, you are your little one's anchor, and your calm, confidence, and nurturing presence will be the keys to success. By adding a touch of flexibility to a blend of familiarity, and using these practical strategies, you'll create a comforting little sleep haven, wherever you rest your heads.
Happy travels and sweeter dreams!

]]>As a brand and as the humans behind it (that’s me, Lucy, and my brother Rob) we will never stop striving to preserve our precious playground. It is the only one we have. So, we wanted to share some of the things we are doing to make life greener. Come this way…
No apologies for starting with the product we know best! We have clung like barnacles from day one to creating honestly crafted and sustainable products that enable people to make the most of their time on this planet. Bundle Beds mattresses are guaranteed for 10 years, the filling for our super-soft duvets and pillows is made from recycled plastic bottles and our metal buckles are tested to a tensile strength of 1.5 tonnes to help our beds fill years and years of adventure rather than landfill. Choosing a Bundle Bed over an airbed or flimsy camp bed that will break after a few uses is an investment in sustainable sleep.
While we’re on the subject of revolutionising our toiletries, my other wash bag win is Wild. Sustainable, natural deodorant that has banished single-use plastic with its nifty compostable refills. And they smell as good as they are for the planet. A total winner.
Ok…whiter and greener. Rob has discovered PÄRLA toothpaste tablets which are plastic-free, cruelty-free, vegan and sustainable. It was such an easy switch to make and means no more single-use plastic tubes and the added bonus of no more toothpaste-smeared sinks. No wonder we are smiling. You just chew and then brush like normal, but with a clearer conscience.
Whilst staying at The Wildings Campsite, we came across Fill Refill Co who produce refillable products that look super cool and reduce waste - winning! By looking out for products that have a refillable option, you can drastically reduce your waste by simply refilling a bottle or container that you already have.
It’s a new rule but a good rule. If I forget my reusable coffee cup then no takeaway coffees, teas, hot chocolates or any other liquid pick-me-ups for me. It’s forcing me to be more organised, more conscious of my habits and ensures no needless coffee cup waste. I love my Circular&Co cup as its made from single use cups and is 100% leakproof.
The same rule goes for water. I have several reusable bottles. I always have one in the car, one in my bag, one in my spare bag so that wherever I go I can refill rather than buy bottled water. It’s not a new idea but I have renewed my commitment to it. Rob found the brand Ion8 that the whole family are all big fans of, and are the first bottle that we've found to last the test of toddlers & young kids for over 6 months.
(Lucy here as Rob didn’t feel qualified to comment!) But period pants and Moon Cups have changed my life. They are so easy to use, so much cheaper in the long-run and despite not feeling my best at this time of the month I feel so much better knowing that I am not contributing to the tampons, pads and packaging that end up in our seas and landfill.
Even though the up-front investment can be more, we are making a conscious effort to buy to last. Financial cost isn’t the only consideration and whilst money absolutely doesn’t grow on trees and there always has to be a balance, we would like the trees to still be there for our kids and their kids. It’s why we haven’t compromised on quality for Bundle Beds and why we’d rather buy one decent organic cotton t-shirt than three questionably-made cheap ones.
Food is my love language and nothing makes me happier than a plate licked clean. Putting some extra care into meal planning has helped me to create food my family loves with much less waste. Not only is that better for the planet it’s also been better for our bank balance!
I have invested in some glass containers and banished cling film in my kitchen so that when there are left-overs we can store them more sustainably.
As well as the changes above, we’ve been challenging ourselves to make our camping trips even greener. Camping is already a lighter way to enjoy the planet but this year we’ll be taking separate bins for our tent to make recycling super easy. We always follow the "leave no trace" rule and ensure that the site is left how we found it (or better). And finally, we're choosing more sustainable campsites who are focused on reducing their impact on the environment - Huttopia, The Wildings & Dinham Farm have all been great examples of this so far.
Whilst the challenge can feel overwhelmingly big, some of the actions we can all take are so simple. We’d love to hear what you’re doing too and we hope this blog inspires some more steps in the right direction, however small.
Have you seen the 5 steps we have taken to ensure that every time you lay your head on a Bundle Bed you can sleep soundly knowing that you have invested in a better tomorrow?
]]>
Treading as lightly as possible on the planet whilst making the most of the adventures it has to offer is fundamental to who we are. So, we wanted to share 5 steps we have taken to ensure that every time you lay your head on a Bundle Bed you can sleep soundly knowing that you have invested in a better tomorrow.
Bundle Beds mattresses are guaranteed for 10 years and are honestly and lovingly crafted so that they last even more years of adventure and kids’ bouncing! You name it, they’ve endured it. Unlike airbeds and flimsy camp beds it takes A LOT to take them down which means you won’t be replacing them after a year or two. (Please note - despite the image above please don’t treat the beds as trampolines, the 10 year guarantee covers faults incurred by normal airbed use only! 😉 )
The filling for our super-soft duvets and pillows is made from recycled plastic bottles. Far from giving you a rubbish night’s sleep you can rest easy in the knowledge that someone else’s trash is the stuff your dreams are made on.
Our metal buckles are tested to a tensile strength of 1.5 tonnes to help our beds fill years and years of adventure rather than landfill.
At our family-run factory in Turkey we believe in minimal waste. We put our textile off-cuts to good use making new products that improve people’s lives. We’re sworn to secrecy right now but watch this space for an exciting new product launch next month which makes amazing use of the Bundle Bed material that is left behind.
By 2050, our oceans are expected to contain more plastic than fish. With the harmful effects of packaging playing a large part in this, we use the minimum packaging that we possibly can, whilst still ensuring that our beds are safely delivered without damage. Our boxes and instructions are made from recycled cardboard and paper, and our bags are recyclable.
We want to make sure that our beds fill years and years of adventure rather than landfill. We're keen to do our bit to look after the planet for future generations and our sustainability promise is one we take really seriously. Please do let us know if you have any suggestions for how we can further improve our approach to this.
On the subject of long lasting products, we put together a list of great gifts for toddlers that will see them through a good few years.
]]>We recently met Mischa Mortley, a teacher of Design at La Garenne school. After chatting to her about the projects that the children in her class were doing, we realised that we could link up and create a really fun stop motion project using Bundle Beds.
The students were challenged with developing their own stop motion videos to demonstrate the multiple uses of a Bundle Bed, to be used across our website and social media. Considering they had a very limited timeframe to create these videos, we were blown away by the results, and couldn't choose a winner, so we'd love you to help please.
Take a look at the three videos below:
Can you understand why we found it such a hard choice?!
Thanks so much for your help with this.

]]>My brother Rob and I, and the little business that I founded six years ago just survived one of our toughest years with the double whammy of COVID and Brexit hurling unprecedented challenges our way. But we’re still here. Like the buckles on our beds we’ve borne the 1.5 tonne weight. If you are reading this, you have made it through too. Congrats and thanks for being here.
Having made it this far, we have decided that it is time to give back alongside another brand we have loved for a long time who feels exactly the same way; Magnificent Stanley. This is why we have decided to Choose Love this Christmas.
Alongside the gorgeous Magnificent Stanley, we have created a limited edition, one time only Bundle Bed and a personalised Magnificent Stanley top, to raffle for Choose Love in the run up to Christmas.
Why Choose Love?
Well, we've always been about providing a good night's sleep wherever life takes you and about allowing people to be together. But we're also acutely aware that some journeys are not chosen but forced due to war, political regimes or climate change. That, in some 'camp sites' it’s not just a decent night’s kip that's at stake but homes and families and lives. If we are truly about supporting people on the move and helping people to be together then we Choose Love who are doing incredible work to get essential funds and resources to displaced people living in freezing refugee camps this winter.
Becky at Magnificent Stanley is on the same page. She creates gorgeous, personal designs on her beautiful kids' clobber that celebrates uniqueness, difference and acceptance. Choose Love is an easy leap for her to make too.
As well as raffling off our completely unique Bundle Bed to raise tonnes of money for Choose Love we’ll also be donating a warm blanket and sleeping bag from the Choose Love store for every Bundle Bed that is bought between now and the end of the year.
Yes, buying a Bundle Bed does mean buying more stuff. But our brand of ‘stuff’ is planet-friendly and built to last. So it won’t be part of the 10% of presents that end up in landfill this year. There’s also no need to wrap it – swap bows for buckles and unwrapping for unrolling and there won’t be a shred of waste paper in sight.
Choosing Love and choosing to only make products that are good for the planet are how we are showing up, now and not just for Christmas.
Whatever you choose to do, we hope you’ll Choose Love with us in whatever form that takes for you. Personally, we think Bobby, age 7 nails it with this:
“Love is what’s in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen.’
Sometimes the smallest voices have the biggest clout. Especially if we stand together.
Roll with us and get your Choose Love raffle ticket here.
Buy a Bundle Bed and gift a blanket here.

]]>The truth is that our Classic beds have been designed for anyone to sleep in... adults or kids, indoors or outside, so you'll get a great night's sleep wherever and whoever you are. Or if you're looking for an even more portable solution for younger ones then take a look at our Toddler & Junior kids travel beds for a dreamy nights sleep.
However, when choosing whether or not to "Boost your Bundle", remember that size matters! You’ll want to find the mattress that works best for your size, height & weight, so we've made a little table to give you some examples of our existing Bundlers, and how they feel about each mattress:
And within the Bundle Beds team... Our "Chief Bundler" Lucy is 168cm (5ft 5ins) and weighs 64kg. She's used our Classic 5cm thick mattress for the last three years and sleeps brilliantly on it, whether camping or staying with friends. She's recently tried out the Boosted 8cm mattress, and has decided to upgrade to that one purely for a bit of extra comfort and luxury as they tend to camp for 4-5 nights (read more about their full camping kit here).
Our "Number 2 Bundler" Rob is 180cm (nearly 6ft) and weighs 87kg. He's slept on our 5cm mattress and has been ok on it, but the Boosted 8cm mattress allows a far better night's sleep for him.
Both Rob & Lucy's kids, who are aged between 2 - 6 years, LOVE their Toddler Bundle Beds and are happy as Larry on them.
Their niece and nephew, aged 8 & 14 years, take their Classic 5cm Bundle Beds to stay at friends houses or for extra beds on holidays, and sleep really well on them.
So in short, if you weigh over 75kg, or just fancy a bit of extra comfort, then choose our Boosted 8cm mattress. For anyone else, our Classic 5cm mattress will ensure a great night's sleep, anywhere.
Click here to view our range... Happy Bundling!
If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact us.
]]>Do you like Bundle Beds but wondered whether they’re worth the money? (You can be honest with us!) At the best of times, but especially right now, ££ signs are important and where you put your hard-earned cash is not to be taken lightly. We know you could choose to pick up an air mat for a few quid but here’s why we think the investment in a Bundle Bed is worth it.
Quality
We have worked incredibly hard, and very closely with our family-run production team, to ensure that every single part of the bed is of the highest quality we can make it. We use cobra style metal buckles (tested to a tensile strength of 1.5tonnes!) to hold our roll together because we know how irritating a broken plastic clasp is. We have chosen 100% organic brushed jersey cotton for our bedding because this is a bed that is meant to feel like home. The pillow and sheets have sweat-wicking properties because a night under canvas shouldn’t leave you clammy. Our self-inflating mattress is guaranteed for a whopping 10 years – if it fails you, we’ll replace it, no quibbles.
And, let’s be honest, looks matter too! Whether you use your Bundle Bed as a camping bed, a sleepover bed for the kids, or as a spare bed, we didn’t want it to be bland and have chosen colours that pop. (There are new designs coming too! Watch this space….)
Built-to-last
The Bundle Bed was inspired by my travels around Australia in a ‘swag’. One of the reasons that I loved my roll-out swag bed was that it was a hand-me-down, passed from mother to daughter, and was still going strong - albeit with a bedding change or two! With a focus on reducing landfill and reliance on the culture of ‘throw-and-replace’, the Bundle Bed is designed to be loved by the whole family. It can be used across the generations (some of our fabulous customers have taken them on retirement trips across the world!) and passed between siblings, cousins, and friends.
All you need in one bundle
A great night sleep on-the-go is not just a mattress. You need bedding and a pillow too (and perhaps bumpers and a waterproof sheet for the kids) – all of which either need to be purchased, or at the very least remembered and stuffed into the back of the car. A Bundle Bed comes with its own sheet, a proper duvet, a pillow, and can now be equipped with a waterproof sheet, all handily rolled together into one space-saving bundle. There’s no need to worry that you might have forgotten something essential for your trip away.
(Please also keep your eyes peeled for the new Bundle Bed for toddlers with innovative blow-up bumpers to keep little ones in their bed!)
Holiday savings
The Bundle Bed is not a one-trick pony! It will save you money across a number of different holidays and trips. For example…
Comfortable camping holidays!
Once you've got yourself set up with the camping kit essentials, then a holiday under canvas can cost as little as £20 per night! (Check out our campsite recommendations for the South-West or some cosy winter camping options). Camping holidays can be a great economical option for families - especially when you know you're all going to have a comfortable night's sleep! As a family of four ourselves, I’ve also noted down a few sleep tips for camping with kids for you.
More (and cheaper) options for holiday-rentals
When we go away for a long weekend, we choose to rent just a one bedroom apartment or cottage. Our boys are then more than happy to sleep on the floor of our bedroom on their Bundle Beds. We still get to hang out together in the living area once they've gone to sleep and don't have the additional expense of an extra bedroom!
Holidaying in hotels made easy
Especially if there are three children in your family, hotel stays can be tricky as family rooms rarely cater for three kids. A Bundle Bed is the perfect solution without the cost of an extra room and the grown-ups needing to split themselves across two rooms.
Of course, we’re biased, but don’t take our word for it...
]]>]]>
Our mums have (somewhat placatingly) always agreed that Bundle Beds are the bee’s knees, but it really is something special when someone else thinks so too. Especially when it’s the amazing team at Junior Magazine. They have selected the Bundle Bed, from a hot list of contenders, as their top PLATINUM winning travel product for parents.
Judge Jo Tutchener-Sharp, and founder of Scamp & Dude, said:
“We are massive fans of camping as a family and the Bundle Bed is genius – what a fantastic idea and love the design too!”
As our aim is to bring friends and family together, and make it a little easier (and more comfortable) to get out experiencing new places, we couldn't be happier with this recommendation. So we nearly fell off our chairs when the Bundle Bed was also awarded the new Junior Design Award for the BEST-of-the-BEST in children's design.
Talking about our own achievements doesn’t come easy, but we’re pretty proud of this and can’t wait to see what the future holds as we work towards ensuring a great night’s sleep, anywhere!
